Our meetings typically involve:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">guest speakers who bring us up-to-date on current Alberta library issues;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">discussion about issues common to us all, which may sometimes result in further action taken by the executive and\/or ad hoc committees;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">a series of round robins where we share what&#8217;s happening in our own libraries<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">APLAC has a Listserv for Library Administrators through which members can communicate with one another, conduct polls and generally help each other with public library questions and issues.\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Annual membership for 2021 starts at $35 for libraries based in communities of 1500+ people.
